Ways You Can Volunteer

We have a place for everyone — whether you love working directly with youth and families, organizing events, or helping behind the scenes. Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Helping at community events & outreach days
• Supporting youth activities and programs
• Assisting with donation drives (coats, hygiene items, supplies, etc.)
• Packing and delivering Blessing Boxes / resource items
• Administrative help (printing, organizing, preparing materials)
• Fundraising support & event setup/tear down
• Social media support / photography at events (if interested)

What to Expect

Once you fill out the Volunteer Interest Form, a member of our team will reach out to you with upcoming opportunities that match your interests and availability.

You can volunteer one-time, occasionally, or on a regular basis — every bit of help matters.

Note: Some volunteer roles may require a brief orientation and/or background check depending on the activity and level of involvement with youth.

Who can volunteer?
Anyone who has a heart to serve! Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, families, church groups, student groups, and community organizations.

Do I have to volunteer every week?
Not at all. You can volunteer one-time, occasionally, or as often as you’d like. We’ll match opportunities to your availability.

What types of volunteer opportunities are available?
Volunteer roles may include helping at events, supporting youth programs, assisting with donation drives, packing/delivering Blessing Boxes, and behind-the-scenes support.

Do I need experience to volunteer?
No experience is needed! We’ll provide instructions and guidance for any role you sign up for.

Will I need a background check?
Some volunteer roles—especially those involving direct interaction with youth—may require a brief orientation and/or background check. We will let you know if this applies to the role you select.

How will I be contacted after I fill out the form?
After submitting the Volunteer Interest Form, a Cove team member will reach out to you using the contact information you provide with next steps and upcoming volunteer opportunities.
